Kátia Arraes is a technologist at the Navy of Brazil and has Master Degree in Science of Computation from the University Federal Fluminense (UFF/RJ - 2006). Currently works in National Institute for Space Research (INPE) in Brazil, in Center Regional of Northeast. She is recently working with Satellite based Remote Sensing where has focused her research on process of extracting of information from the on segmentation and classification of images to aim on accuracy of results about studies of mapping on land use and land cover.
