Mayra Milkovic received a degree in Biological Sciences/Ecology from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is involved in an MSc research at the Faculty of Agronomy at the same University. Her work involves the exploration of land use change impacts on ecosystem functioning, specifically afforestation in grassland ecosystems. She basically uses remote sensing information combined with different data bases. She is also collaborator of the web-plata basin project and member of the LART (Laboratorio de Análisis Regional y teledetección).
