Rômulo Menezes received a PhD in Soil and Crop Sciences from Colorado State University, USA. He holds a Professor position at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil, where he carries research on biogeochemical cycling in agroecosystems of the semi-arid NE region. He is currently working as co-PI of two CRN’s funded by IAI (Tropidry and Amfoods) doing research to study the ecology of Caatinga vegetation and to develop sustainable land use practices for family agriculture systems.
